Is there a way to attach a personal tag to an entire clipping document so it automatically hits all of the clippings added to that document? I'm thinking this would save time when making clippings as I'm reading through sys theo books and the such.
If you go into the documents window and select the info icon and then the clippings document you want, you can add tags in there. However, they don't auto-appear in the "tags" line for individual clippings within the document. Regardless, knowing this answers the question, as it has the end result I was looking for.
That 'tag' is useful but only in the Documents menu via the Filter sidebar. I also use a real Tag to locate my Notes in a document via mytag: in a Docs Search. I only put Study notes in one clip and I don't need to locate the other clips. If the 'tag' in Documents menu was (requested) to be applied to each clip I would identify my Notes clip with a unique Tag.
mytag:
That's a great suggestion. If it already exists, I don't know about it.
