Denny,
Thanks for posting your question here. The answer is that there is only one format (single column) available for viewing or printing out a Passage Guide in Logos 4. Unfortunately you cannot do in Logos 4 what you found useful in Logos 3.
By selecting the Print option on the Passage Guide menu you can export the Passage Guide in a number of formats (see the lower right side of the Print Screen). You might be able to work with one of those in Microsoft Word and get it into three column format (I tried and wasn't too successful).

Denny, it sounds like you want to create a Passage List in Logos 4 (that's what Verse Lists are now called).
From the File menu, choose Passage List.
Enter the verses that you want to add to the list one by one in the "Reference" box at the bottom of the list, or you can paste them all in at once if you've got them listed somewhere else by using one of the optons on the Add menu (choose "...clipboard" if you've copied the list of verse references from somewhere else).
Then to show multiple columns, by which I assume you're referring to showing the verse in multiple Bible versions, click on + Add versions. Click again in the Resources box to bring the focus there (I'm not sure why it doesn't go there for you automatically; it should). Enter the versions separated by a comma. Press Enter. (I seem to have to press enter twice; again, it shouldn't require that, but it seems to right now.)
Note that you also have to have your window sized wide enough to see two columns side by side. Otherwise it will display the different versions one after the other:
