Word Biblical Commentaries

I just purchased the download version mainly for a series on Judges that we are starting and i had no commentary on the book and was surprised to find that Judges was not a part of it after further investigation Acts was not a part either. Wondering as to why these were not a part of the set which i thought was a full set?

The simple answer is that they have not yet be released. In other words the set is not quite complete yet, though these commentaries are slated to come out at some point in the future. However, when the time comes, and Logos puts them on pre-pub you will have to pay for them individually.
Have a look at bestcommentaries.com to see estimated release dates/top commentaries for each book.

Also, if you do not plan on using this commentary for any other reason and are now regretting the investment, Logos is really good about giving refunds, especially in a case like this.

I recommend the College Press NIV commentary on Judges. Also the Bible Expositor's commentary. I wish I had more variety on OT commentaries. Have several, but most are not complete sets. I only need the 4 volume upgrade to have the College Press NIV complete OT. I already own the NT. And I'll state it again, I wish I had John G. Butler's biography series. There's a lot of material on the judges; especially Samson and Gideon.

If I could afford it, I would make it a part of my library, but I can't at this time. I've read several negative reviews, but just the fact that they would help me get close to 2K resources I'd still get it. The ones I'd really love to have and maybe I'll get them in the future are: NICNT/NICOT AND ICCOT/ICCNT. Lots of material there! I'd also like to have the NIV Application commentaries on both the NT and the OT (at least the vols. that are available).
