The latest What's New with Logos seems only to have 12 seconds of footage, it wasn't like that yesterday. Can someone fix it so we can rewatch the 1-hour update for those who missed it? Thanks.
Like the improvements so far, but see some weaknesses in the books In Print feature. I would like to add all my physical books in to Logos linrary, but see some shortcomings. Maybe if you made a separate category or as a separate library app for physical books which the Logos library could access, for when I go to see what books I need to download the app considers In Print books as not downloaded books, and the list is then is cluttered with them. Since I have a large physical library, this would soon become unmanageable. The second issue I see is that In Print books are not listed as owned books, when looking for new books to purchase on the Logos webpage. If I know I own the physical book, I can then decide to purchase it and give the physical book away. The third issue, the In Print locate function leaves half of the physical books as not matched in Logos. I like the function, but find it frustrating that it finds the title, but does not list it in my Logos library. I realize you cannot have every book in your Logos library, but it would still be nice to have a no match physical book listed, when doing a search in Logos. Thanks for reading my thoughts on the In Print feature.
Maybe they fixed it since you posted, as it looks to be in order now: https://www.bigmarker.com/logos/What-s-New-with-Logos-January-2025
(It looks like the problem is the link in the replay email, and not in the video hosted at BigMarker.)
It is so distracting. I've looked everywhere for an option to turn this off. Like everything in Logos, I find the GUI counter-intuitive and frustrating to use. Nothing is easy to find. I only keep using it because it has better materials than competitors, not because I enjoy using it.
I recently purchased the Logos 10 Starter Legacy Library thinking that it was a less expensive option to get the Logos 10 application. However, my version number indicates 42.1. Did I misunderstand how this works? Thanks for the responses.
Hi folks I’m trying to get a feel for whether Brill will add anything significant that I can’t get from BDAG (and many others I own including LSJ). My use case is carrying out exegetical study as a teaching/preaching pastor, rather than scholar or academic. If anyone has experience lf these two reference works, what is…
I have prioritized the resources I want at the top of things like Passage and Exegetical guides, but I own many more resources that also show up under "Commentaries." In what order do un-prioritized resources appear?
I moved this from the books and courses forum because I got no response. Bill✭✭✭May 9, 2025 I am having trouble understanding what the criteria is for Type:Study Guide. I used to think they had to have questions with answer boxes, or a question section after each chapter, or a study questions section at the end with the…
