I want to "brush-up" on my GK. I've had the usual 3 years of Seminary languages and used it in the ministry however, it's been a while since I've used now so, can anyone suggest a L4 resource that might help?
This may be more basic than you are looking for; but I have found it very helpful. It is also very reasonably priced[:)]
hey my friend. Did you forget the title or link? [:D]
What may be? [:)]
you know?
the book
If you refer to Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament when doing Bible study, sermon preparation or whatever, I think you'll find yourself absorbing or reabsorbing greek painlessly. After 54 years of Greek, I'm still enjoying learning more. I think you'll find your seminary Greek comes back as you use it again. I don't suggest that the semi-literate Albanian villagers, among whom I have the privilege of living and working, learn Greek and Hebrew rather than use our (poor) Albanian Bible translations, but I am so grateful for the chance to read the Book in the original myself.

oops, I always do that. Normally I count on Rosie to catch that and fix it for me. She must be slipping

On comparison chart, http://www.logos.com/comparison noticed Elements of New Testament Greek included with several packages: http://www.logos.com/products/details/6549

I confess to being swamped and not being able to keep up with all the posts on the forum. I'd missed this one until now.

I did wonder why your posts were so sparse recently [*-)] Glad to know it's nothing more sinister than being swamped [:)]

Oh, that and I'm getting more sleep these days. Which is a good thing! And I also wanted to give poor Dave Hooton a chance to catch up with me on post count, which he still hasn't done in spite of my being a slacker. No, indeed. I wouldn't worry about my posts being "sparse." You probably just haven't been reading the same threads I've been posting on. There seriously are too many posts each day for any one person to read all of them.
Delighted to hear you are getting more sleep. Sweet dreams![|-)]
