BUG: Search Documents
Logos Bible Study 39.0
39.0.408
(Update channel: beta)
I'm a little confused here… If this is a bug, I doubt it's new. However, it's so basic I think I must be confused somehow.
- In documents, I wanted to search for the document called "Celebrating the Lord’s Supper (DPW 3.13-17) Sermon Template".
- I typed "Lord's" in the documents search bar (with no other filters applied). Two documents showed up with the word "Lord's", however, the document that I was looking for didn't show up.
- I typed "Sermon Template" and found the document that I was looking for, which didn't appear earlier even though it had "Lord's" in the title.
Not sure if it's related to the apostrophe, but also not sure why it would have found the other two documents?

It is! That 'apostrophe' is technically correct, being curly. The others are a straight single quote matching the input from your keyboard, so replacing the 'apostrophe' with a straight single quote could be the easier than converting the others to 'curly'.

(Update channel: beta)It can be difficult to decide the right 'forum' for an issue like this, but it is not a beta problem when that version becomes the current release version. So the English forum with a tag of
Desktop App
would have been better.Dave

Well then, I think this is a bug, but with Sermon Builder, rather than Documents Search.
Preciously, when I typed "Lord's" in the Sermon Builder title, it created an apostrophe (just like it does within the Sermon document itself, and Notes). Recently, when I typed "Lord's" in the Sermon Builder title, it created a straight single quote/tick.
Expected behavior: Lord’s, not Lord's (it would also need to insert the apostrophe in the search bar as well!).
