Atlas tool - how can it be more relevant?

Often, when I click on a geographic marker in my Bible, the Atlas tool doesn't show relevant info. I have added a screenshot of Luke 4:44. "Jesus Tours Galilee and returns to Capernaum. " But… no Capernaum is visible, no tour is visible... Many places on the map do not occur in the Bible, while biblical places (like Nazareth) are not visible.
When I click on the two downward arrows, all layers are shown. Or is it only a legend? Why isn't it possible to toggle layers on and off? Or can I do this somewhere?
How can I make better use of the Atlas tool?

Sometimes it's a question of scrolling in and out which will reveal more info on the map because the initial picture is quite bare? Not sure if that's helpful?

That map seems like it's out of tune with the others (modern names). I looked at other 'Jesus' maps … they seem to be in the 1st century.
That said, Atlas continues its saga of irrelevancy. I was zoomed into Jesus' tours, and then tried out Jesus talks to Caiaphus. I'm pretty sure Caiaphus didn't go up to Galilee, but the map didn't move down to Jerusalem. And when I moved the map down to Jerusalem, there was no Jerusalem to be found (an earlier reported problem).
So you zoom in, zoom out, move, do something. It's been pretty broke from its inception.
