Favorites Sidebar
The favorites tab doesn't seem to be the same thing as the Favorites sidebar, but they are named the same thing.
Could you change the name of the Favorites sidebar to 'Saved' or 'Fav Notes' or 'Pinned' or something please. With a different icon. So that the two things that are separate is not confusing. I actually don't know how to interact with this Favorites sidebar at all. It doesn't seem to do anything. I don't know how the KJV got in there or how to save or recall favorites specifically in it.
You can see by my pic here that my 'Bibles' folder in my main favorites tab showed up in the fav sidebar for some reason. I don't think it's supposed to have full books in there. It also shows only the KJV and not the other one. If I add a folder to the sidebar it will add it to the main favs, but the main favs don't show up in the sidebar. Could you make it so they are not synced unless we manually want it to be. So that the favorites sidebar is unique to that particular book. You could add an option that we could make something from the main favs persistent if we want (It would show up in the sidebar too.).
…
The Favorites Sidebar could follow us per chapter. It would show all the notes/highlights etc. for that chapter in a list. This would be a drop down selector on what you want to show.
Highlighted things would have the text that colour. We could rename the text of the highlighted entry, as an alias. We could filter it with the find omnibox at the top, and search for something. Or we could change the scope of how it follows us. The whole series, this book, this chapter, sync (follow exactly). We could click a button to toggle follow on/off.
EDIT:
The things that appear in the list could be reordered. We could choose order alphabetically, chronologically, etc. Or choose 'Manual' and drag and drop our own order. We could make folders too.
The filter of what we could show would be able to mix and match, to show only that particular thing or a mixture of things. All, or: highlights, notes, etc. Also we could have entries of other things, like if verses are linked to sermon prep, if they have been shared, if it is linked to a document etc.
pls pls 🤗

The favorites sidebar on a resource is simply a subset of the favorites as an independent tool in a narrow panel.
