Book modals not displaying in dark mode - UX Design, UI BUG

The book 'It Is Finished: Finding Lasting Victory Over Sin' by David Wilkerson has modals or text boxes that interject testimonies throughout the book. These are unreadable in dark mode. See screenshots.
