If I don't have internet access and won't for a long while, is it possible to get updates and electronic shipments via some other secure manner?  Thanks.

You can order the Logos Bible Software 4 Media Only DVD for $4.95. It should be updated whenever they update the software, but it appears to lag behind the software releases. The current version of the DVD is 4.0d, but 4.1 shipped on October 6. I don't know how long it takes them to update the DVD.

I don't know of any way to subscribe to it so that you would automatically get a new version of the DVD whenever a new release of the software comes out. And besides, you'd have to know that a new one had come out (which you could only do by having Internet access) in order to even order a new version of the DVD (by phone). Seems kind of difficult to manage.

As for resources, you can still buy some of them (the old Logos 3/Libronix ones) on CD, but most new Logos 4 resources are download only. I'm not sure if there's any way to get around that.

EDIT: I just thought of one way you could do it, but you'd have to have a dedicated machine that was only for you and getting these releases to you, which would be located at the home of a friend who has Internet access and would not use the Logos installation on that machine for himself (that would violate the EULA). This friend would keep that second machine updated for you and periodically burn you a DVD of all the current Logos 4 folder on it, which he would then send you by mail. He would use Method 1 here to back up the Logos installation from that one PC to a DVD and thence onto your computer wherever you are without Internet access. It's as secure a method as there is. Somewhat cumbersome but if you really have no Internet access and must get updates of the software, this would be the only way to do it.

I'd suggest you to have someone at home regularly make updates to your Logos copy installed on home computer.  After that you can follow guidelines to update Logos offline, from http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers - backups can be delivered to you on DVDs.  Some archiver (like WinRAR) can break the whole archive into volumes and password-protect them, too.
