I tried following the video at http://www.youtube.com/user/LogosBibleSoftware#p/u/144/yn0-GUJiPEk  but the video shows a different screen to mine,
I clicked on the search icon set my search criteria to "all bible text" "all passages" "na27" and typed in G:Logos but the drop down box i just typed in did not show the Greek text as it does in the video.
The video does not have the "all bible text" field.
I have the arrow at "Bible" not basic, morph or syntax
I hit the return and no passages showed up.
Does anyone know what i am doing wrong?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums, David. Like everything else, it's easy when you know how. You simply need a lower-case 'g'.

    Thanks Mark,
1/ Why is my screen different from the video that does not have "all bible text", is the video an older version?
2/ In the video there are four variant spelling options in Greek that appear, where as my option is only the top one why is that?

    Thanks again
    David

    (1) Yes, you're right. The video shows an older version of Logos that didn't feature the dropdown menu.

    (2) The words in the list are built from your index of your own resources,
so it will be different for every user. But in this case, the difference also stems from another, more subtle change introduced in later versions of Logos 4. In the original version of Logos there was only one index, but now there is two: a complete index, and a bible-only index. Now, when you do a Bible search, Logos will only show words in the drop-down that appear in your Bibles, whereas previously it showed words that appeared in any of your resources. The other suggestions that are shown in the video don't occur in Bibles, so no longer show in a Bible search (though they would appear in a Basic search, assuming you had the same resources as the person doing the video).
