Please offer a way to backup library to external drive.

This would safeguard just in case Logos ever went away.

Ben, welcome to the forums.
Having a lot invested in Logos resources, many of us would be concerned should Logos ever go away. I am not concerned about that happening.
Your library would be of little value on its own if Logos did go away as it is in a proprietary format. As long as the software worked you'd still be able to access all the resources you have downloaded to your computer. Web based tools, of course, would no longer function.
With the size of Logos' user base, it seems unlikely that in the unlikely event that Logos closed someone wouldn't buy them out and convert our resources to a format compatible with their software. That's what Logos did with Wordsearch.

@Mark Smith While I can understand your position I like what Ben proposed @Benjamin Quek. If we truly own everything that we have purchased then it would be nice to have a safeguard on our investment. I would go as far as having a digital copy of all purchased resources as well as an always installable application to at least read all of the resources. Better still, would be to have a Logos 10 era application with an FFS.

You can backup all your resources that you have downloaded. On my PC they are found here: C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\<random string>\ResourceManager\Resources.
The program is not to my knowledge available as a stand-alone file. I'd be glad to learn differently.

Years ago, in the days of Libronix, Logos was a stand-alone product. When I bought a new computer, all I had to do was install Logos from the cd. All resources were on cds and could be unlocked by entering the code that came with it.
Today, a back-up of all your Logos files can be made, but in order to use Logos on a different computer, you need to access their servers. After you've done this, Logos can be used offline indefinitely. However, there are some features that are not available offline.
I am not a subscriber, so I don't know how this changes things. If I remember correctly, Mark Barnes did say that subscribers could use Logos offline, but they would need to periodically connect with Logos' servers.
Requiring users to connect with Logos' servers means there is no way to continue to use the program on a new computer if the company was no longer around. However, I do agree with Mark that the large user base makes this unlikely.
