BUG: Can't Choose Multiple Selections in Notes

In the ongoing saga of Lost Functionality in Logos Bible Software…Chapter XXXX: Can't Select Multiple Targets using Ctrl.
Why has this function disappeared? If a passage pasted into my note has multiple footnotes, and I want to reduce the superscript numbers (which is another bit of Lost Functionality—Notes used to reduce the size of superscripts by default), I used to be able to select the first superscript character, then hold down Ctrl and select all the rest of the characters I want to change, and then I could select the font size I prefer ONCE and I'm done. Now, as the pic shows…
…I cannot choose any of the red-boxed characters without deselecting the 1. This means having to INDIVIDUALLY resize each number, which is a massive waste of my time. This is BASIC FUNCTIONALITY, AND IT USED TO BE AVAILABLE AS A NOTE EDITING OPTION. Please return this functionality to the program. While you're at it, it would be nice if you also returned reduced-sized superscripts, as well. For crying out loud….

Just to provide visual context for my last comment above, this is an example of a note that had the reduced size superscript that was created in a previous version of the software. This is how superscripts are supposed to present.
Compare the above with what this same note would look like if created today…
The superscripts are both obscenely large and obscenely high, because they are not, in fact, superscripts. Superscripts, like Small Caps, are a particular "thing", not just a raised-up version of a standard thing. Looking at the footnotes, it is easy to see that the genuine superscripts (top pic) are mostly located below the top of the adjacent Caps, whereas the bulbously misappropriated pseudo-superscripts (bottom pic) are located mostly above the adjacent Caps, which makes their absurdly large size all the more jarring and overwhelming. This also needs to be fixed.
