B6 Crash: Stuck in "endless" crash
I downloaded the 1.2 gigs successfully, while it was doing that I set it to update in the background, after download clicked to install. Installation went as far as starting to pull up the logos window and then I got the "stopped working" window. Windows report was never sent. I have tried killing it through Task Manager with no luck. Task manager says it was "not responding"

Did it create a log file?
It sounds like you might be crashing opening the Home Page or loading the last layout. To work around this, hold down CTRL+SHIFT while starting the program. The "Sign in" screen should come up, with a new checkbox displayed: "Use blank layout". Check this, then click "Sign in" to start the program.
If this still crashes, you may be experiencing a problem with sync or some other online feature. Hold down CTRL+SHIFT again, check "Use blank layout", then click "Work Offline" to disable all online features temporarily.

I don't think it ever generated a log. Nothing would kill the program, even the task manager, so I did a good old restart of my system, which did kill it. After the restart I opened Logos 4 and everything went smooth. Its now re-indexing my library. I'll have to remember the Ctrl + Shift command, though. Thanks! I had a feeling L4 was on the right track. B6 seems to be a huge step forward, IMHO.
