David, the error occurred when trying to open a reading plan. You might try logging on holding down the CTRL key and selecting 'open to a blank layout' when given the option to do so and see if you can successfully get into Logos. See http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_Not_Starting
If you do, to check things further you might then try to open the reading plan you have active and see if you get an error.
It crashed when I clicked "Mark Done." I did not need to load a blank layout to get back into Logos. I'm using the same reading plan without problem right now.
