Yesterday I saw that Logos had downloaded an update. Today, when I opened the program in Windows 11, it froze at the opening image. The program simply won't open anymore.
It gets stuck on the opening screen.
Me too…
I restarted my computer and that fixed it. YAY!
I have seen this too. Restarting the computer is the only fix I have discovered. It only rarely occurs and started for me with 39.0.
For me is not working… I already did uninstall, restart, and downloaded again the installation package from Logos Web page. My PC is Windows 11. Is there a way to rollback logos to version 39? I tried to find a repository with old versions of Logos packages.
Just check you are up to date with Windows Update, and that there are no pending or stalled updates.
I keep my PC up to date with the latest releases from Microsoft…
@Daniel Paulo Zuim
Did you perform a complete uninstall by deleting the Logos folder at %localappdata%?
@Dave Hooton It was solved… I did a new install of my Windows 11. Maybe it was something related with it, because I joined the Beta tester group for W11….
There may have a corruption of the the files left behind on a normal uninstall.
Please see the discussion in this thread.
This has been resolved with the release of version 40.2.4
