When making a note attached to the lemma (e.g. θεράπων) is it possible to have the icon for that note displayed on that word in an English Bible?

I have tried this and found that I have to attached the note to the verse and not the word.

I place a note against a word by highlighting it with the cursor using the mouse. Then I right click the highlighted word. In the pop-up menu, I click on add a note. The new note should show the note is against the word highlighted with the cursor using the mouse. I hope this helps.

Thanks. Yes, it works well with an English word, but when I select the lemma froth Reverse Interlinear Pane and and attach the not to that lemma it does not appear with the corresponding English word in a English Bible

Try adding the note to the selected word/phrase and choosing Selection (instead of Reference) in the context menu. I tested it and you can see the note indicator in other Bibles:

This is one of the issues with the current note system: If you use 'Selection' instead of reference, the note will indeed be on the word and not the verse, but it will only appear in the current bible you are using…you won't see the note in other versions. If you select 'Reference' instead of selection, your note will appear in all RI bibles but will be on the verse instead of the word.

That really needs some work, IMO.

In my test, the note appears in other RI Bibles (you need to ensure that "From other books with corresponding text" is checked). From the image I posted above, the note is both in the original Bible (the ESV) and in the ASV. I just looked into a few other RI Bibles and I'm seeing the note indicator there as well. No note indicators for that note in non-RI Bibles.

Thanks for the comment. I guess using reference is the only way to show the note icon.
