I was just reading Commentary on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament Authors: Carson, D. A.; G. K. Beale [ http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/COMNTUSEOT ] and the article was comparing a text in Mark with the Hebrew OT and the LXX. There was a quote from Deut 29:2-4. Because it mentions the Hebrew and LXX text of Deuteronomy, I wanted to see both.
What is the easiest way to do this? Click on the text > which will open the ESV; click on the parallel resources tab (which takes some time) choose one version; Click on the parallel resources tab again and wait for it to populate again and then click on the LXX (interlinear).
Suggestion:
Why can't there be options on the Right-Click menu under: Reference say, that would list my top Bibles (maybe segregated by language group / or by Testament)? So now, I see the Deut. reference, right mouse click; select Reference and then easily and quickly navigate to the Bible I want to open. In my case in this example, I would right- mouse-click 3 times for: BHS, Lexham LXX Interlinear and the Lexham Hebrew Interlinear. How easy would that be?
NOTE: Right now, I do have Lexical options on the menu, but what I am suggesting would [under a different heading], allow us to also have our "Go To" Bibles available at a click.
Thanks
