40.0 RC2 or 40.1?

I thought that on the beta channel we got the latest updates to the software. I see elsewhere there is a 40.1 version. I, at least, am still on 40.0.351. Should I be?

What you are seeing is the expected behavior. In the event there are changes that are shipped in an SR (like 40.1), those changes are typically rolled in to the next weekly beta release. However, you won't immediately get an update, nor will you install the version from the stable channel.

Mark - I was in the same situation. I changed my update channel to default and it immediately downloaded 40.1.

My nearly-uneducated guess is that 40 is considered stable and not a beta anymore. You could do what I did and then switch back to beta so you get the new one when it comes out.
