To change the font in the Logos Bible Software desktop application (not the mobile app), you can adjust the font settings for your resources through the Program Settings. Here’s how you can do it while you’re actively using Logos:

Open Program Settings:
- Click the three-dot menu (panel menu icon) in the upper-right corner of the Logos window. This is typically found at the top of any open panel or resource.
- From the dropdown menu, select Program Settings.
Navigate to Text Display Options:
- In the Program Settings window, scroll down to the section labeled Text Display. This section controls how text appears across your resources.
Change the Default Book Font:
- Look for the Default Book Font dropdown menu at the top of the Text Display section.
- Click the dropdown to expand it. You’ll see a list of available fonts (Logos provides a wide selection, including serif and sans-serif options tailored for readability).
- Select the font you’d like to use. For example, you might choose a sans-serif font like "Helvetica" for digital clarity or a serif font like "Times New Roman" for a traditional feel.
Apply the Change:
- Once you select a new font, the change takes effect immediately across all applicable resources (e.g., Bibles, commentaries, and books) that use the default font setting. You don’t need to save or restart the program.
Optional: Adjust Font Size:
- While you’re in the Text Display section, you can also tweak the Content Scaling slider to adjust the size of the text globally. This complements the font change if you want larger or smaller text.
