Two issues remain when typing notes

They are (running Mac 15.3.1 and Logos 40.0.351)
a) when starting a double quote, two end double quotes are produced
b) I typed "xyz … word abc" (with spaces before the first dot and third dot) where there is actually an ellipsis there and consistently the first letter of the first word I typed following the last dot and space is cut off, it happens a half second after I type it so perhaps is an AI thing.
