Is there a way to highlight a verse without tying it to a translation?

If I highlight a verse (web, desktop, mobile) it is anchored to the translation I am in, so the anchor might say John 3:3 ESV.

I can manually add an anchor to John 3:3 then, and remove the one tied to the ESV.

But is there a way to create the highlight from the start without the translation being part of the anchor?

    Yes, choose Reference rather than Selection in the right-click menu, on the left side.
