iPad vs Android tablets
I have used both iPad Pro and air and found logos buggy on both. Went to android s9+ and it ran so much better. Dare I say smoothe ? The issue with that particular tablet was that it was too long. If I relaxed my wrists at all it would want to fall backwards. Became quite annoying after some time. So I went back to the IPad Pro with the s4 10” …love the tablet, but the app has me speaking under my breath. Anything I can do to help setting wise. Besides updating that is. Issues vary but most often immediately noticeable is highlighting or notes etc. I reset it, and it’s fine, but it just keeps happening!

Hi @John - and welcome to the forums
I don't experience problems running Logos on my iPad - what specific issues are you seeing with highlighting and notes?

Same as Graham, I have been using Logos Mobile on iPads for a few years and have no problems. Can you describe what keeps happening?

It stops highlighting, allowing me to make notes etc….Until I reset it

I use the iPod Air 4th gen with iOS 18.3.2 and am not experiencing those problems. Perhaps an uninstall and reinstall might help. When you say, "Until I reset it" What does that mean? Closing app and reopening or restarting the iPod?
What steps are you doing to take notes when it stops working? And when highlighting stops working, are you able to click on a single word and get the menu?

I have used the Logos app on both iPads and various Android tablets. Generally, I find both to work well.
The biggest issue that I have with Android tablets, which I have reported as a bug in the past, is that library searches for resources are much more comprehensive on iPads than on Android tablets. To cite one example that I have reported, if I do a library search for resources for “biblical theology” on my iPad, my library returns 956 resources. I get the same result on my iPhone. On my current Android tablet, the same search returns only 76. Similarly, if I search for “justification,” my iPad and iPhone show 182 results in my library while my Android tablet only 31.

I have this same issue almost hourly on my iPad and iPhone. It seems like the application loses the handle to the popup, and therefore is not able to make the popup, and nothing tells it that it has to reset the popup if it fails to create. Everything else works fine; except that a selection simply doesn’t trigger the popup, no matter what you do. To fix it, I have to close the app and reopen. Would love to see this fixed!

That is it exactly “Robert Kelby” . Everything else functions correctly until I go to use those functions. Then works fine again once I restart the application.
