Android Logos doesn't interact with the user anymore

Logos can no longer be operated. Tapping the surface no longer brings up the hidden menu.

I can swipe from tab to tab, but I can't close a tab or open a new one. I have 17 open tabs.

Throwing it out of memory and restarting it doesn't help either. If there is no other solution, I have to reinstall the app. This is not the first time.

Last attempt was to clear the cache. Didn't help.

Is there a better way to do this?

My device:

Samsung Galaxy A55

Android 14 / One UI 6.1

Logos 40.0.3 / German

@Joe McCune (Faithlife) The problem is: When the app hangs it hangs. No removal from the Android system will help. Therefore a menu can't reached.

I had the issue yesterday afternoon. This morning the app worked as nothing happened before. But after some studies (reading an article in THAT and compared to some bible verses) it hanged again.

Now some hours later it works again. So I sent you the log now - but to emphazise it: The issue doesn't exist in this very moment.

(btw: The system notification list told me on the afternoon: "Bible is loading …" for a long while and never ended.)

It looks the app tries to make an internet connection and waits for a timeout - looks the value is very high. All other apps have no problem with internet connection. Therefore logos should have this connection as well.

The 'Loading' forever problem is a bug on some old and new versions of Android, it seems. I get it on my phone, but not on my tablet. The only way to clear it from your Notifications is to use Force stop in Apps.

@RJ Please accept my apologies for the problems you are having. We do already have a ticket open to fix the problem with "Loading".

I get this too. Sometimes Logos just freezes and becomes unresponsive. As already said the only way to clear it is to Force Stop.
