Logos 4 Home Page Updating Too Fast

I just installed Logos 4 last week. I find the home page to be a great display of useful passages, facts, and knowledge that draws you into Bible study. The only problem is, the home page changes content without knowing if you've finished reading the 4 pages filled with information. There were some good excerpts and passages I wanted to read, but couldn't read until later. When I open Logos 4 again to finish reading the articles, Logos 4 changed the content! Is there a switch or some way to save home page content so that you can read it later without having to click every article? What would be great is that they leave the home page content alone for 24 hours. Perhaps have it update every day or week. Thanks!
John

Welcome to the forums!
Right now I don't think there is a way to freeze the homepage. If I were in your boat I would take screenshots of the homepage or follow all of the links and create bookmarks that I could return to later.

On my system the Home Page changes once a day unless something unusual happens like a software update or I hit F5 to update it...

I'm glad you brought this up Kevin, I just did two things that I've never done before in a Logos product
1. put stuff on the top with resources outside of Logos, especially Word Docs which I also use for note taking
2. Use book marks, by using the "folder" sections... I didn't know this was possible until I went to a book I had some book marks on and saw that there is now a "New Folder" selection availble... is this new, or did I not see this before?? I link favorites to the resource list, and have it open on the left side while I reading a book that I want to remember where I left off, because I jump around so much in the resources I'm reading.
One should probably take a rainy Saturday to play around in L4, especailly since they are adding stuff all the time. Sorry for changing the subject [:$]

John, if you customise your homepage options and uncheck the Show Homepage at startup box at the bottom, Logos4 will start up where you left it when you closed it, and you can go to the homepage when you want and it changes once a day, probably at midnight. But it will change immediately after you customise it, so be ready for that! At least, that's how it works for me.

If you saw an article recently on the Home Page and can't find it again, hit F5 to refresh (and page through the other pages using the Next/Prev page arrows at the lower right). You might have to wait a few moments after pressing F5 for the refresh to finish. If you still don't see the article you're looking for after one refresh, hit F5 again. What this refresh does is select (at random) from a list of recent articles and excerpts from your Library. The blog articles will be kept around for a while until being retired. I'm not sure how long. And I'm not sure how the random excerpts from your Library work. I think there is a limited number of pre-selected excerpts and it just randomly chooses from among those and cycles through them again, at random, so if was an excerpt from your library that you're trying to find again, it could take quite a few times of hitting F5. If you remember any of the text from it, it might be more efficient to do a Basic Search through your Entire Library for it.
