Continuing problems with sermon editor.

New random misbehavior. Adding multiple slides for fill in the blan words. Will only insert text as a block, which is not helpful for entire chapters or pericopes. One verse per slide is the only way to make it legible but it won't paste that way. These are new issues different from previous problems. Two issues.

  1. It's been about 6 weeks and this has not been addressed. Instead, it is worse. If these are bug issues they should have been dealt with.
  2. I sometimes get the impression that these are expected, programmed behaviors and that the program is using AI features to help. These issues don't help, and they are very frustrating.

And…It's Easter week which form many of us means additional preaching and teaching. This is one of those times of year that the software simply has to work.

    I'm not understanding the problem with fill in the blank. The first slide includes the blank. The second slide fills it in. Would you expect fill in the blank to function differently?

    1. This is not how the app was previously behaving. Consequently my design of the slide did not take into account the "fill" process. It is a little shocking when a new behavior just appears. 2. Because there is no real way to customize (no effective settings approach for any "module" of the app, you're just kind of stuck. I figured out a work around. When I took away the fill in the blank the slides appeared as normal for me to export to powerpoint. and then I exported the document with blanks to prep for printing. I was able to get the job done, it just took some extra steps. 3. Easter Week is not a good time for work-arounds and surprises!!!
