BUG?? and Observation re: copying notes

I have noticed that when you create a new note, and then copy contents from another note into the new note window, if you simply close the new note, you may lose the contents of the new note. In my experience, unless you do something to alter the contents of the copied material, the new note WILL NOT TRIGGER THE AUTO SAVE FEATURE.
Making pretty much any change to the newly copied material, even adding and subtracting a <space>, will trigger the save function. Just putting this out there so people are aware of the functionality (and lack thereof) in the app.
I have noticed this on more than one occasion—it is especially obvious when adding material on one platform, and then waiting, and waiting, and waiting for the change to manifest on a different platform (desktop, mobile, etc.) and NOTHING HAPPENS because the added material in the note window hasn't been recorded through the auto update process. Then, by simply adding and subtracting a <space> (or making any other change), the change will populate in the other platform relatively quickly.
