Logos Sermon Editor running painfully slow and freezing

For about two weeks the Logos Sermon Editor has been running painfully slow and freezing frequently on me. Sometimes I need to restart Logos. Sometimes it will buffer for about 30-60 seconds and then start up again. All I am doing is typing like a normal person. I called customer service last week and they said they are working on a bug with the latest update that has something to do with the sync feature. It is still not working and almost renders Logos Sermon Editor unusable.

Please fix this ASAP, Logos.

Is anyone else running into this problem?

I have Logos 8, Logos Bible Study 41.1.6

    Nothing besides the basic Windows Defender system that comes with Windows. I have made Logos an exception on Windows Defender when troubleshooting this and that did nothing.
