SUGG: setting of weeks starting day

In most calendar software or softwares with calendar functionality like Outlook, FirstClass, Lotus Organizer (if it still exists) there is an option to set on which day the week starts. In Sweden monday is the start of week.
My suggestion is to add option to set start of week in the Tools/Settings. This will prevent weeks started on mondays to be divided into two rows when e.g. reading plans is displayed or printed.

Ebbe ~ Can you add this suggestion to UserVoice? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with this problem--can you attach a screenshot, please?

This is not a big problem. I've lived with this in all Logos versions so far (since 1.6). If this is a huge amount of work there is a lot of more importent things to deal with. If start of week could be set then mondays would be displayed leftmost in readingplan.
Here is a screenshot. I've marked week 44 in red:
Here is the settings dialog from FirstClass where you can set start of week (Veckans startdag):
This is not a big deal to me as a user. I never print the reading plans and I can live with "your" standard when I open them for editing. But I think most softwares today have settings to follow current standards in different parts of world.
In my account on Logos (company) homepage there is settings to follow "my" standard and I get all prices in my currency. A small thing maybe, but I appreciate it very much.

What he is saying is that European calendars run Monday to Sunday on one line while American calendars run Sunday to Saturday. He's just requesting a bit more international view.

Just out of interest, can you confirm if your Region and Language settings dialog (in Windows Control Panel) shows Monday as the first day of the week?
(Logos 4 doesn't currently read this setting, but I'd like to know if your system has the correct value there if we ever did start relying on it.)

I'm running XP Prof and there is no setting to set first day of week. But there is setting to set format to view date, time and for location and every settings is set accurate.

Bradley, that would be the best and most simple solution (to use regional settings of the OS). It is not working now however. I have Monday in my Windows 7 and Logos is putting Sunday first in the Reading Plan. Just for your reference. I agree with Ebbe, it is not a bog think, if it would be too much work, forget it. If it would be possible to do, it would be nice.

Ebbe, am I to understand it is working already for you? It is not for me. It might be connected to the Swedish interface of Logos. Or am I missing something?

Hi Bohuslav
On my system (UK) Logos honours the selection in Windows 7 regional settings and starts the week with Sunday.
God Bless

Thanks Ebbe. Looks I will have to learn Swedish [:)] Actually I wanted to do that when I was young, before I started to learn English.
