Parallel resource bug? in NPNF Series 1 v2

Why does the parallel resource menu show up in Nicene and Post-Nicene Father, First Series Volume 2?

It lists volumes 2, 4, & 5 as parallel:

If I select one of the other volumes, it takes me to the start of the resource, and the parallel resources menu now contains "no parallel resources".

If I open volume 4 or 5 directly from the library, the parallel resources menu is not even shown.

So the problem is specific to NPNF Series 1 v2 (the volume with Augustine's City of God and On Christian Doctrine).

We've identified the problem as a metadata issue. (It's the equivalent of a Bible commentary reporting that it covers the entire Bible when it might only have commentary on Ezra and Nehemiah.) While it's always been a problem with these resources, it has become more visible since 4.2 Beta 3 started relying on that metadata for "All parallel resources". (You would have seen the problem in 4.1 if you had created a custom collection of all ECF volumes.)

We'll be fixing this with a metadata update, and also updating our book development tools to catch this kind of error earlier.
