Logos does not distinguish between notebooks that I originated and those I downloaded

I write a lot of notes. Logos suggests notebooks when I do. Often it suggests notebooks that I did not originate, so I cannot add notes to them. Sometimes all 5 of the suggested notebooks are not mine.
Very often the notebooks I use the most often aren't even in the suggested list.
So after I create the note, I have to find the notebook I want.
Minor flaw. But you exist to save us time. This is a flaw that apparently has existed from the earliest days and it's still here.
You are focused on all the new stuff, but I keep finding things that should have been fixed long ago
thank you

Fyi, the 5 suggested notebooks in the context menu are the 5 that you most recently accessed. So you do have control over what shows there.

nope, I often get suggested notebooks I have never even used. I downloaded a bunch that I thought I might look at at some point and never have.

So if you open a notebook, it does not appear as one of the 5 options?

??? The options appear before I open a notebook. Sometimes the options are the ones I commonly use, and often they are not mine to add to. Sometimes none of the options are mine.

The screenshot below displays the 5 options I am referring to. If I open a new tab, open the notes tool, navigate to a specific notebook and open it, that notebook will now appear at the top of this list the next time I open the context menu. I can then repeat this step 4 more times, thereby personalizing which notebooks are displayed here.
I agree that public notebooks that a user cannot add to should be excluded from this list.

sounds good. But this doesn't explain why I get notebooks offered that I cannot add notes to. And many times, none of them are mine.

I have tagged this post with Bug, because the context menu clearly suggests you should be able to Add note to the five notebooks it lists. For this reason, public notebooks that a user cannot add to or edit should be excluded from the list in the context menu identified in my screenshot.

I can reproduce this behavior, and I have opened a ticket.
