Yesterday I did a smart search against my books. This am, I started a precise search in the Bible tab (i.e., I typed in my search query). When I realized I was in the wrong search tab, I switched to Books search. It was still set to "Smart" from yesterday's search. The search terms transfered (good) but the search ran before I had a chance to switch to precise (not good). It would be good to change this behavior so that AI credits do not get used accidentally. This is just a single example, but I have ran into this a number of times.
