Hello, I purchased the Theological Journals 1-10, does anyone know how i can "search just for articles written by certain authors"?

Make a "Theological Journals" collection then do a basic search and select "author" in the first drop down section and "Theological Journals" in the second and type the authors name in the search field, it's quite simple.
Click the "All Text" dropdown in the Basic Search tab and select "Article Author" - then close that dropdown menu (click anywhere outside it) and type your search text (the name of the author you're searching for). You might also want to make a collection called "Journals" to limit the search to just relevant resources.
Unfortunately I don't think there is any way to search for some specific text only within articles by such-and-such author. Either you're restricting your search to the "Article Author" field or you're not. No way to mix and match.

Oh, thanks for that. I was too hasty in my reply and didn't actually try the search I was describing to see if it worked. [:)]
Could be a beta issue? I'm running 4.1 SR-4 and there is no "article author" option, just author.
