Will the legacy library disappear as new libraries comes. For example the logos 5 library will it be withdrawn the next time a new library comes out.
I think it is unlikely since it hasn’t happened yet, and the legacy libraries have been around for a few years.
However, individual resources can be removed from legacy libraries. Happened many times for several reasons.
Excellent point, Jan.
Chiming in on behalf of the Logos team! There are currently no plans to stop selling any existing Legacy Libraries, which include the best scholarship from their original release year (e.g., Logos 5 libraries will not be removed when Logos 10 libraries are released). However, we occasionally lose the rights to sell older titles from publishers when newer editions are released or collections are reconfigured. In those cases, we may need to update or remove certain products in Legacy Libraries from our store. If you already own those books, you won’t lose access to them—they just might no longer be available for purchase in the same configurations.
Any idea when the Logos 10 libraries will be available?
what is the difference between the 2025 Libraries and logos 10 that people are wanting for.
Don't give them any ideas. Lol
Just different books. With dynamic pricing, some of the packages end up being very cheap.
Keep an ear out towards your email and Logos app homepage. A little birdie told me they're coming soon!
Correct! Legacy Libraries are curated book collections from past versions of Logos (with scholarship and the books available in libraries when those versions were released), while the 2025 Libraries contain the newest scholarship and developing series. (Legacy Libraries also don't currently contain the vocational tracks like preacher, leader, researcher.) Just different opportunities to build your Logos library and enhance more of your features.

The New Testament has tags of many types of figurative language. I would love it if this feature were added to the Old Testament. The Psalms and prophets are so rich with figures of speech. I can find a few tags for Figures of Speech in the Old Testament, but they use a different naming system than the New Testament and…
I keep hearing about the Book of 1st Enoch. I realize that there’s multiple authors when we get into 2nd & 3rd Enoch, so I’m specifically asking about 1st Enoch. I hasten to say that I realize that it has some historical value, but is there a work that solidly demonstrates (factually) why it isn’t canonical? This is NOT to…
How can I set up the Bible Recap Reading plan to go by the days laid out in the resource, so I am current with the podcast meaning Logos feeds me day by day according the the appropriate day of the year the current reading? When I set the plan up myself, it goes by page numbers in the book and not by the book's already…
Any chance someone might simply explain what Logos is doing when it differentiates "lemmas" from "other lemmas" in the EG subsection? The latter seem to be the results of a broader search, perhaps based on a match.nomarks type of search? In the ex. below, the first "other lemma" search result refers to a type of root with…
I've had to reinstall Windows and all my Windows apps, including Logos. My Logos is located on a D: drive that was not touched by the new Windows installation. There are two issues. First, reinstalling Logos seems to have initiated a re-download of all my books. Is there a way to avoid doing that? I mean, I could just…
