Two Suggestions

I have two suggestions I'd like to see in Logos 4:

The ability to create a Collection from a Library search result-For example, say I'm searching in the library for books from my favorite author. I could instantly take those results and have it create a new collection for me with the click of a button.

The ability to activate Libronix CD's in Logos 4-Being able to type in "Activate Libronix" into the Command Bar, enter the code from my Libronix CD, and instantly have the CD "Activated", my licenses synced with my Logos.com account, and the "Update Now" command automatically ran so it'd download all my new books from the Libronix CD, all happening as soon as I entered the license code and clicked GO!. It'd save time from having to call (and bother) Customer Service, and be another reason I could ditch my copy of Logos 3.

Thanks!

    This would be very helpful

You can easily create a dynamic collection (in the Collections tool) by specifying:

author:Jeremiah   (for my Jeremiah Lifeworks collection)

This will automatically grow as new books from (David) Jeremiah are added. If I want to be specific I could use

author:"Jeremiah, David"    if there are multiple Jeremiah's!

I'm not sure how you were going to formulate the search in Library, but you can do the same "search" whilst creating a new Collection! Creating a collection from a Search result (eg Basic Search) will not be dynamic.

I think that may be on Uservoice - it has been requested before in the forums.

Great to hear. Would love to see it in L4.

Actually, what I'm talking about is similar to that, but instead of going to collections and do it, you do it right in the library. So when I'm looking up books in the library using these commands, and get a list of books I want, I could click a button and create a collection of it instantly. Basically the same approach to how collections work, just a little quicker if I'm already working in the library.
