Getting my hands on resource updates

the issue of internet downloads is not a new one on this forum. I live outside the U.S. and my internet access is expensive and limited to 3GB of total traffic per month. This user profile is definitely not taken into account in the way Logos software is engineered.
In relation to this I have the following question:
I have several resources that are either unavailable or not working correctly because I can't turn on "automatically download updates" and "use internet". For example, I don't have access to any of my interlinears ( I am a Scholars Silver user). Is it possible to have someone in the U.S. download updated copies of my resources and get them to me via physical media? If so, how would I go about that?

Technically you could only do this within the Logos licensing agreement if you have a computer in the US that is for your use when you're back there, which a friend could access for you, but would not be using Logos himself on that computer. Logos's is a one license per user EULA, but each user can install it on multiple machines for their own use. So you could have a friend install your second copy of Logos on said computer, log in as you and download all your resources, then burn them onto a CD for you and mail it to you. You would then issue the "scan" command in Logos with the path to where the resources were on the CD (for example, scan d:\ ), then close Logos and restart it, and it will import any resources from the CD that you don't already have on your computer. But you'd have to have a friend that you trusted not to cheat and use your copy of Logos on that other computer. That would be violating Logos's EULA. I'm sure Logos can tell your IP address when you log in and if people are mysteriously logging in from some overseas and the US on the same day it might look suspicous...

Oh yes, I'd forgotten about that. Here's the link: http://www.logos.com/products/details/5579
It appears to be outdated, though. It's still showing 4.0d. Logos 4.1 started shipping in September.
Also I'm not sure whether this is a "service" (i.e., a subscription). It look like you just buy the latest media only DVD when you need to. And I think it only contains the books that are in the base packages, not the entire Logos catalogue, so if you'd ordered resources beyond your base package, you wouldn't be able to get them this way. I think.

You could try sending an email to dan (at) logos (dot) com and explain your situation. He is VP of marketing. Perhaps he can help as this question has been raised several times previously in these forums.
