LOGOS removed features from my package - lack of integrity

I am very dissapointed that LOGOS removed search features from my package trying to force me to use their latest online version - despite promising us we will be able to continue using our existing version - now removing features is very sneaky and dishonest. Why have you removed "fuzzy search" and removed searching from the top 5 bibles together features ? Diminishing my features is unfair - I have paid for my package - I am not impressed - this is dishonest and a very poor reflection on your integrity. Going back and removing valuable search features from my existing fully paid for package is theft

I’m sure others will have specific answers, but have you reached out to customer service before posting on here? That should be the first step, in my opinion. It might have been a mistake/error.

What version of Logos software are you running? And is your computer online when you are trying to run the search?

Where are you looking to specify you want to search your top Bibles?

Please post screenshots showing what you are seeing?

Agreed. It used to be in the desktop app. If you selected "Search", then entered in the search window what you were looking for under the "Basic" section, it would then report "Fuzzy Bible Search" results as well as results of other areas such as "Library Results", "Your Documents", "Your Books", etc. Despite this being a payed for feature that I too owned in the Logos 10 full feature set (listed in the prior offered owned features of Logos 10 as "Fuzzy Bible Search"), it's no longer there (verified in version 42.1.10 of the Logos software).

I'm extremely unhappy with Faithlife. I was hoping that my paid-for owned features wouldn't be removed, and it turns out that this is happening. Faithlife is going to lose my business over this. Extremely unhappy and disappointed with Faithlife. And if someone should want to respond with a pitch to subscribe for better search features, my response is a definitive "No." To remove features I paid for is truly a lack of integrity from Faithlife

I'd try Customer Service. They will straighten it out for you. Pretty sure.

Fuzzy Bible Search is still available. I just used it in v42 as well as on the web app.

As mentioned above, it could be a bug or mistake so providing more information like screenshots may be illuminating.

I'm not seeing this… I have 42.1.10, which I think is the newest update as of this date. I still have "Fuzzy" and "Top Bibles" which includes my top five.

It was not removed; it was moved. When a new level of choice was implemented - think smart vs. precise - it became necessary to show that fuzzy did NOT apply to smart but only to precise. Therefore, the option needed to be moved so that it was obvious what it applied to. Fortunately, the forum is here to help when you can't find a familiar feature in its familiar place.

In the desktop application, you need to execute your Bible search first in order to see the option to switch to a Fuzzy search. In other words, the "Fuzzy" search is presented as an option to how your results are displayed, not an option to what kind of search your are doing.

I'm guessing, don't hide stuff from long-time users without a big popup on first run explaining where things are now.

I thought that was pretty obvious.

If you keep changing the working interface, you will confuse (and possibly anger) a number of customers who don't hang around in places like this to keep up with all the changes. At a minimum, put placeholders for a period of time to show where features have been moved.
