Forum Search does not locate all my posts

Case in point.
I can't find my previous post on this topic! I am sure I already posted it but clicking on the number next to my avatar does not find it. I've found this before.
Are others finding that Forum Searching omits some of their posts? I'm having to search for my old posts manually.
Thanks
Richard

The forum search engine is junk. I've given up trying to use it. Use Google instead, use site:community.logos.com and your search terms, your name to find your posts.

OK thanks.

When Logos is tinkering with the servers in the background, there will be hiccups in the retrieval of content. You may notice avatars missing, posts missing and other pages not displaying properly. This is more common in the wee hours of the morning when it is typical to perform server maintenance. It was very visible with the Logos 4 roll out last November. It is fun to try and identify when they switch back and forth.
Also, like Kevin says, the forum search engine is junk, and Google finds the hits better.

That seems to work OK except ... is there a way to order a Google search in descending order of posting date?

In advanced search or on the left side look for a "Latest" option, this should sort things reverse chronologically.

Kevin and Steve...thanks for reminding me about this search...and for helping with the refining tools....it's appreciated....
I wish there were a way to have a preloaded site:community.logos.com prefix preloaded so I wouldn't have to type it everytime....

duh....[:)] Just bookmark a page after you have done a search. I keep these on the bookmark bar at the top of Firefox. When you click on it yes it will do the last search (but its instantaneous). Then i just change the search word(s) and leave the site info in tact.
[e.g. in the above image, i would change the word wiki to whatever i wanted to look for]
EDIT: please forgive me for the duh, i realize that you don't know me that well, but i see your post (and really appreciate them) all the time and the opening would have been said in a very friendly way to a Brother in the Lord!
