2 Problems with Full Screen Paged View

Apologies if I already posted this, but Forum Search does not seem to find all my previous posts (see post on General Forum about this).

1) System Slowdown. I am reading a resource on full screen (Reading View) with Paged View selected. My laptop slows down significantly, with significant performance hit for other tasks in the background, like run a word processor to take notes, or edit images in Photoshop CS5. It takes much longer to switch apps and when I do, L4 sometimes grabs focus immediately. The problem immediately disappears if I cancel Reading View and return to normal layout.

2) Display Issues. If editing Photoshop CS5 files in the background (as I often do while meditating on Scripture), selecting a different layer in the Photoshop file fills the screen with the L4 paged view. Maybe this issue relates to the use of the graphics card?

Is anyone else finding this?

Thanks
Richard

Task Manager shows no CPU usage when L4 is showing a full screen, paged view (not scrolling). Other tasks can start and work normally eg Word 2007 with Logos Smart Tag. This is my desktop quad core (see below) but I doubt I would see differently on my laptop. Scrolling takes 2-3 times the CPU compared to normal view, but that would be expected.
