I see the need to modernize and automate the sharing of publicly shared documents, filters, and highlights.
Currently, when we update (correct, improve) any publicly shared Document/Filter/Highlights/Workflow/Guides, we need to individually and manually share the new version again. Otherwise, they remain restricted to the creator.
In addition, it is necessary to log in to the website (
https://community.logos.com/home/leaving?allowTrusted=1&target=https%3A%2F%2Fdocuments.logos.com%2F
) to share each item individually.
In the case of highlights palettes, any change to the palette name interrupts sharing. In the case of highlights, when we create a Visual Filter dependent on a highlights palette, the filter is shared within Logos, but the Highlights are not shared either within Logos or automatically when sharing the Filter. It is necessary to log in to the website and share them. I imagine that many users are unaware of this (as I was three years ago), as I have downloaded Highlight-dependent filters that did not work because the respective Highlights were not public.
Therefore, since document sharing and the like are very useful for the Logos/Verbum community, it would be good if this process were modernized and there were more configuration options, such as:
- automatic update of who shared (creator);
- automatic update of who downloaded (user);
- select and share multiple at the same time;
- be able to do all of this through Logos without relying on the website.
