Key Issues Need to be Addressed re:Android app

The first issue that needs to be addressed is the spacing issue regarding any section of scripture cut from the logos Android app and pasted into a document or comment on Facebook etc. Every single line is double spaced! The comments that I try to make on Facebook are rejected because there are too many line breaks in the verse or verses that I cut from logos and paste into the comment! I tried to cut and paste three verses into a Google docs response treatise I was creating on Android and it took up the entire page??! This has to be fixed.

The second issue that needs to be addressed is the fact that when I paste a section of scripture from the Android app into a Facebook post or document on android, there is absolutely no identifying information whatsoever. We used to be able to cut and paste a simple verse or series of verses into a document or comment or post on Facebook and we received a clear delineation of what we had just cut from the word of God, giving us the book, the Bible chapter and verse number as well as the version of the Bible and the year of the translation in parentheses after the verse number. Now when we cut and paste we get a double and triple spaced mess that takes up the entire page most of the time if you have multiple verses, with absolutely no identifying information. This is not a simple and inconvenient flaw, this precludes me from composing treatises while I am on the go which is when I am doing most of my treatises! You shut me down when your app was obliterated regarding its utility.

PLEASE 🙏🏻 address the issues of the double and triple spacing between the lines of verses in cut and paste scripture as well as the absence of any reference to the material regarding Bible book, chapter, verse, version / translation of the Bible! I can't do any work remotely because it takes up an entire page to do a Bible verse quote and I certainly can't do a comment on Facebook because the double spacing exceeds the number of line breaks they allow in comments! PLEASE ADDRESS THESE ISSUES.

@mtnmanofGod I am sorry to hear you are having these dificulties.

I do not experience the problems you describe when using Logos on my own Android phone.

I recommend trying the following:

Go to More(three horizontal lines in lower-right) and select Settings.
Under Citation, make sure that both "Copy citations" and "Use short format for Bibles" is selected.
To select a verse, double-tap on it. To select additional verses, use the drag handles.
Select "Share" from the pop-up menu. This is available under Verse | Word. You may need to swipe the menu bar to the left to see this option.
Select the app you wish to share to.

I also get the similar results if I choose the option to "Copy" from the menu bar.

I really appreciate your trying to help, thank you. I have done what you are saying after it went haywire a few months back when I was in the middle of a treatise. First there was double spacing and then there was no more citation at the beginning of the verses I had just copied as they're always had been. I started to play with the settings to try and get it to function as it always had, perfectly with single spacing and the common citation method when someone copies and pace-averse, with the book, chapter, verse and Bible translation right at the front, not in parentheses except for the Bible translation and then the verses numbered. And all I can get it to do is to put after the verses, in parentheses, the book, chapter, verse. I've tried APA style I've tried Christian writers style which is what you're seeing below in the example, I've tried Bible TEX style etc... and I get this right here :

When he tramples on our citadels,

Then we will raise against him

Seven shepherds and eight leaders of men. (Micah 5:5, NASB95)

I don't want the reference after the verse, I want the reference before the verse and the verse single spaced as we always had it. There's other people having the same problem that I've talked to I just don't know what to do to get it fixed because I am shut down with my ministry writing on the go. I called in to a tech person the first day and she didn't understand what I was talking about until she got on her system switched to Android and the exact same thing was happening to her and she said well we're just going to have to wait until they do an update. I've waited almost 4 months now and I'm stumped and frustrated as you can imagine. I checked the box you wanted me to check which of course I had checked before but it was unchecked now because I got the numbers back in front of the verses by unchecking that so at least I had verse numbers, but in that mode I didn't get even the book or chapter or verse so I just had to add that in every time and if I wanted to make a post I had to sit there for 15 minutes and backspace until I got all the extra line spacing out and then post the comment. My posts are super long because I've got double spacing everywhere on my citations so. Attached is a screenshot of my settings. Thanks again for at least trying, I really do appreciate you.
