How do I erase this highlight?

I am having trouble erasing a highlight that I have had for a long time. I selected the passage and hit the delete highlight button, but the highlight remains. The highlighted passage is John 6:31-35, which is only partially seen in the screenshot. I have no idea how to get rid of it. Please help!

If this were a highlight created on this verse in this Bible, there should be options to Open / Delete notes and highlights on the right of the context menu (outlined in green below)

So my guess is that this is from a Visual Filter or a corresponding highlight from another resource.

Try hovering over the highlight - if it is a corresponding highlight from another resource you should get a popup telling you which resource the original highlight appears in. But even in that case, you should see the option to Open notes and highlights on the right of the context menu.

So my guess is that is the result of a visual filter - try turning those off and see if it disappears.
