Logos start-up delays

Logos used to start up immediately. As fast as my computer could flash up the blue start up screen, the Logos home page would open up immediately after.

Now, I get the blue start up screen and it could be up to 8 minutes before the Logos Home Screen would show up, with no indication that the program is thinking about starting. This appears to be a recent phenomenon and my guess is that the program is updating resources.
A clean install doesn’t fix the problem.

Has anyone else experienced this?

(using an iMac with Ventura, 8 gb Ram, a ton of hard drive space )

That can readily be ascertained by turning to Library and viewing Last Updated > Today. But downloading and/or indexing do not normally occur behind the Start screen.

You could upload some logs via the paper-clip icon to help diagnose the issue. First enable logging at the bottom of Tools > Program Settings and wait about 60 secs after the program loads before submitting the logs.
