salvation through general revelation or not?

In the book titled "Got Questions? Bible Questions Answered" Copyright 2002–2013 Got Questions Ministries , Got Questions Ministries, Got Questions? Bible Questions Answered (Bellingham, WA: Logos Bible Software, 2002–2013).

Under the section "question about salvation", there are two articles appear to be, to certain degree, in conflict with each other, or at least not clearly explained.

Ones is "Can a Person Be Saved through General Revelation? the conclusion is NO.

The other one is "How Were People Saved before Jesus Died for Our Sins?" the conclusion is that salvation or faith is based on what God has revealed to them in their time.

The question in the first article left unanswered which is "What happens to those who have never heard the gospel?" especially gentiles.

it seems that thi is an issue you should raise with Got Questions Ministries rather than here in the Logos forum, where we (try to) refrain from discussing theological topics and questions.

EDIT: Possible questions here in the forum would be:

How do I query my Logo for answers to this question in my library?
Are there books or other resources in Logos that deal specifically with this question (could be from a variety of viewpoints)?
