We’re excited to announce that the Commentaries section in Factbook is now available to all Logos users, regardless of subscription. This section will appear for online users automatically, and offline support will be following later in v45.
Note: If you have the "Prefer Local Data" set to "Yes" in program settings, you will not see this section unless you change that to "No". Once offline support ships you will see the section regardless of what you have that setting configured to.
Whether you're studying a passage on your own or prepping to teach, Factbook's Commentaries section gives you a smart, organized look at the commentaries you own, plus previews from others you don’t. It’s a powerful way to survey insights from across your library, all in one place.
How does it work?
When you look up a Bible passage in Factbook, the Commentaries section:
- Groups commentary entries by Book, Author, Type, Series, Denomination, and Era, helping you scan for perspectives that matter to you.
- Displays helpful snippets so you can preview what each commentary says before opening it.
You’ll see publication info, author names, and links to your resources.
To give this a try, simply open Factbook, search a passage, and scroll down to the Commentaries section.
