I need to make a table, and I think my best option is the canvas. So I have been messing with that and I think it might work, but I can't figure out how to re-name it.

oh, never mind, I figured it out. :) I can't figure out how to delete this question, so I will just respond to it to close it.
If anyone else has this issue, the key is to edit the name on the right of the canvas. Trying to update it where the name occurs on the left, or even in documents, won't work.
