Apocrypha of the New Testament

I was doing some research on Simeon for a Christmas play. Specifically, I was wondering if he was a priest or not. I ran across several allusions to 'infancy gospels' such as the Protevangelium of James.

I can find books 'about' the NT apocryphal books in Logos but not the texts themselves. Are they available?

NRSV includes the Apocrypha. You won't get the reverse interlinear (yet) but the english portion is there.

I don't know if you have Hermeneia or not but the Luke volume discusses some of the issues of Simeon relative to a priestly function and the greek usage.

Scholar's Library Silver editions and above contain James' Apocryphal New Testament, and Hone's Apocryphal New Testament, both of which include the Protevangelion of James.

The Protevangelium is also in volume 8 of Schaff's Ante-Nicene Fathers, the first part of his Early Church Fathers (also in Scholar's Silver and above, and available a la carte).

There are two resources called "The Apocryphal New Testament" - one by William Hone and one by Montague James - it appears that both of them are only available in a base package.

NRSV includes the Apocrypha.

Just to clarify (but I wish I was wrong) I believe that the NRSV apocrypha is only from the LXX which is limited to Old Testament .
