The Workflow Editor been a handy tool for repeat projects like sermon prep or group studies. You can use premade Workflows or build your own—adding steps, notes, questions, and even media links, all tailored to your process.

And yes, you can share your creations with the Logos community if you’re feeling generous (or proud).

It's been a while since I created one. I would love to see how other users have customized theirs. I may have to mosey on over to the Public Docs and dig and scratch around and see if there are any treasures I could borrow.

I've tried it, but almost never use it (probably need to try it again in case it's been improved). It is simply too constraining for me.

The main catch is when I get an idea of something to build, I get started and then run into a roadblock of how to do one particular step in my mental-map process. I don't know if this is due to a limited library, an inability to understand how to use the tools built into the tool, or something in between.

It's a good concept, but so far, I haven't been able to find a way to execute it efficiently. Perhaps the old adage applies: "In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not."

I never used it, but I assumed it's primary value would be a teacher/student equation. FL went down that road a bit, but Marketing didn't follow-up.

Personally, I found it a bit confusion…. for example… Say I create a WorkFlow from WorkFlow editor in Tools and I save the workflow….. that workflow, as I found out, is now listed in the "Guides" and not in "Tools". It took me a bit to find it…. but I finally did. If it's a "Tool" it should always be a "Tool" to my way of thinking. I found this confusing.

2nd… If I do create a workflow… it does not appear in Mobile app. I like documents like this to be available in Mobile app. So I stopped using workflows for that reason. I use Sermons because of that purpose.

I create workflows whenever I wish to try out a method/procedure from a book I have jut read. There has been only one time when the method described in the book was too complex for a workflow. There have been many times when I wished th workflow had additional options. I assume it has not gotten more enhancements because of low use/demand. There are also many times I would prefer a graphic organizer to a workflow … but that is a battle I have given up on.

I never used it. Maybe a nice to have feature, but not for me. I think there are a lot of features that more need a further look from the developer
