L4 Synchronization Problem

I have Logos 4.0a SR-3 (4.10.4.6316) running on my fairly new iMac.  Now I have started to have synchronization problems.  Every time I launch L4, I get the yellow error icon in the upper right, and the message "an error occurred during synchronization"  This problem started a couple of updates ago.

I also have L4 installed on a couple of PCs, and I do not have the synchronization problem.  So the problem appears to be something on the Mac.
