font size of a parallel book

I have a PB which I set the font to, maybe 11pt or whatever that would be, which is what I set all the versions to. Yet when the PB is in parallel it looks like 9pt, while the lead text is in 11pt.

If I increase the font the PB is now at 11pt, but the lead is now at 14pt.

If I open my PB in a new tab it is 11pt, but in parallel it is always still 9pt.

Any ideas how to fix this?
